  • 2023 Lollapalooza Entry Policy
Entry Policy Please be informed that preventative health measures (e.g. proof of negative COVID-19 test or full COVID-19 vaccination, masks) may be required for this show. Details of any necessary measures will be communicated as early as possible and will be shared on the event/venue website and social media channels. If you have questions about vaccines or want to get a vaccine, please visit Vaccines.gov to find the nearest vaccine provider near you. COVID-19 Warning We have taken enhanced health and safety measures for you, our artists and employees. You must follow all posted instructions while attending FESTIVAL NAME An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public space where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers For Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable. By attending Lollapalooza, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19. Help keep each other healthy.
  • Safety at Lollapalooza
SAFETY AND SECURITY The safety and well-being of our fans, artists, guests and staff is paramount. Organizers work closely with local officials to ensure the safest possible experience. You’ll notice uniformed and plain-clothed security throughout the festival grounds. They are there to keep you safe, so don’t hesitate to ask them for help if you need immediate assistance. REMEMBER: You’re the eyes and ears of the festival. If you see something suspicious, say something. ENTRY PROTOCOLS For the safety of everyone entering the festival, all fans are subject to a full and complete airport-style search prior to entry. This may include a full body pat-down and magnetometer screening before entry. If you would like to be screened by security personnel of your same gender, please let security personnel know prior to the search process. Screening of children will always take place with the consent of a parent or guardian. Please review our Allowed and Prohibited items list before heading to the festival. COME PREPARED & LOOK OUT FOR EACH OTHER Here are four easy ways to look out for yourself and those around you: Watch out for your neighbors – if someone around you looks like they need help, check in with them. If someone is getting unruly, alert the nearest staff member. Keep an eye on your belongings. Be considerate – this is a shared space and we want everyone to enjoy themselves. Keep the vibes chill and your hands to yourself. Use the buddy system – the Main Guest Services Tent is the designated meeting point for lost or separated people. If one of your friends is in trouble, please alert festival staff – they will assist you, no questions asked. Keep yourself and your belongings safe – be aware of your surroundings and keep an eye on your personal items at all times. If you find something OR lose something, head to Guest Services for our Lost & Found. Here are some helpful tips on how to prepare for the fest: Have Emergency Contact Info on your person and your phone lock screen in case emergency personnel need to know (PRO-TIP: Make sure to register your wristbands where you will be asked to fill out an Emergency Contact). Remember to stay hydrated and keep cool by visiting the Hydration Stations for free, cool, filtered water and cooling stations placed all around the venue. Remember to bring your own, EMPTY water bottle to refill and help Lollapalooza be a green and sustainable event! Protect yourself from the sun - take breaks and find shade. Sunscreen lotion, hats, and sunglasses are key. Bring hearing protection - we get loud (PRO-TIP: If you forget your ear plugs, stop by Guest Services to grab a pair). Bring a list of allergies and medications you take in case of a medical emergency. Dress for the weather. We’re constantly monitoring the weather. Keep an eye on the radar before heading to the festival so you can dress accordingly (rain boots, ponchos, etc.) ANTI-HARASSMENT POLICY WE HAVE A ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY FOR HARASSMENT. PLEASE LET OUR STAFF KNOW IF YOU FEEL HARASSED OR THREATENED IN ANY WAY. NO ALWAYS MEANS NO. We want every fan to feel safe at the fest. We will not tolerate any harassment based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, body size, appearance, age or national origin. If you feel like you’re being harassed, are the victim of nonconsensual touching, or otherwise feel unsafe, please report it to the nearest staff member. Additional Safety Resources We strive to continually update and evolve our safety and security protocols, which includes education and preventative measures to keep people safe. With this in mind, we are partnering with This Must Be the Place, an overdose prevention nonprofit, who will educate music fans about the dangers of Fentanyl and supply them with the life-saving opioid reversal medicine, Naloxone, commonly known as Narcan. We encourage fans to stop by their booth at the festival and learn more.

  • Can I bring a service animal?
Pets are not allowed within the Festival grounds. However, miniature horses and dogs, which have been trained to provide assistance to an individual with a disability, are welcome. If accompanied by a service animal, you will be provided a Patron Notice of Responsibility for a Service Animal or you can request the form in advance. Please enter through the accessible lane at either entrance.
  • How do I gain access to Accessible Viewing Areas?
All tickets to the Festival are general admission, purchasing an accessible ticket is not necessary. Upon arrival, please visit the Access Center for information on the accessibility wristband program. Patrons with mobility impairments or Deaf/Hard of Hearing patrons can request an accessibility wristband at the Access Center. This wristband is to show Festival staff that the patron plus one companion is eligible to enter the accessible viewing areas or the Deaf and Hard of Hearing areas. The accessibility wristband is non-transferable. Note: the wristband does not guarantee a spot in these areas. Please note that both viewing areas have a limited capacity and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. We cannot save or reserve seats or areas on the platform. Once it’s determined that an accessible viewing area is filled to capacity (including adequate aisle space for entering and exiting the area), the area will not be available for additional entry. Signage will be placed at the Festival identifying all viewing areas for patrons with mobility limitations and patrons who are Deaf / Hard of Hearing. Please visit the Access Center for a map of the festival grounds or the map on the official Festival app to see the designated accessible viewing locations.
  • Accessible Festival Entrances
There are specially designated lanes at the Festival entrances for patrons with disabilities. Look for the accessible signs above the entrance lanes or ask a staff member to direct you to the lanes.
